Nitrifiers, BIO-BUGS take hold in a Turkey Processing Facility
A turkey processing plan with a waste water treatment facility recently decided to give their turkey that good old smoke flavor. To do this they basted the turkey in a "liquid smoke", the exess of which ended up killing their WWTP biology. They tried a competitors product with no success. By adding our BIOBUG® NS nitrifiers to bring back nitrification and adding BIOBUG® AS to build up their bio-mass, a rapid recovery took hold. The plant continues to feed BIOBUGS to minimize sludge. All is working very well and the operator is very pleased.
